A piece of cake is written by CUPECAKE BROWN. This novel is based on true events. In this novel i was amazed to know this women went through a death of a parent, child abuse, rape, drug abuse/ addiction, miscarriage, hustling, gangbanging, near death injuries, prostitution, and being homeless. Cupcake learned to survive though by turning tricks, drinking hard liquor, partying like a rock star, and ingesting every drug she could possibly find while hitchhiking up and down California. Things took a sudden change when she found herself living behind a dumpster from cocaine use. But with the help of friends and strangers along the way  she transformed her life from the inside out. I would greatly recommend this novel it is awesome and i only got so far but the fact she is the author and the main charater in the novel makes it amazing to hear her story. I would not change any element in this mind blowing book. This book is a must read.
